As of 2009 Delta Zeta has touched the lives of more than 224,600 women including the more than 4,400 women who were initiated into our sisterhood during the 2008-2009 academic year. That's an accomplishment to be proud of!
One of the many great things about being a Delta Zeta is that you are a Delta Zeta for life! It's important for us to consider the future of our organization so whether you've been involved since graduation, you're looking to reconnect, or you're moving to Denver from out of state we love to hear from you and for you to become involved. The future or the sorority is in your hands.
Here's how to get involved...
You are considered a member of the Denver Alumnae Chapter of Delta Zeta when you pay your alumnae dues. Dues are collected August-January and keep you active for one calendar year.
Dues for the Denver Alumane Chapter are $25.00 per year for alumnae 25 years of age and younger, $35.00 per year for alumnae 26 years of age and older, and $15.00 a year for our Golden Rose members. Dues may be paid by cash or check made to "Delta Zeta Alumnae Chapter". Checks may be mailed to our treasurer, Lindsay Fryer (e-mail Lindsay to get her mailing address, lfryer@eksh.com).. Please be sure your current mailing address, phone number, and e-mail address are included when you send your dues. If you have additional questions you can contact Lindsay at lfryer@eksh.com.
You may be asking yourself what your dues pay for. $15.00 of your annual dues pays Denver Area Panhellenic and Delta Zeta National dues. The remainder pays for operating and administrative expenses (such as postage), philanthropic contributions to Denver Area Panhellenice and Delta Zeta, and numerous fun social and networking events held throughout the year.
Please make an effort to pay your dues today so that we can continue the tradition of Delta Zeta in the Denver Metro Area.
It’s Time to Pay Your Annual Dues
Thank you to the many alumnae who have assisted Delta Zeta by paying their alumnae dues! Membership in Delta Zeta is a lifetime commitment and your alumnae dues encourage and provide alumnae sisters with an opportunity to reconnect and give back to delta Zeta while supporting important programs and services for all of our members.
How much are alumnae dues? Dues for alumnae 25 years old and younger are $25.00 per year. Dues for alumnae 26 years of age or older are $35.00 per year. This new dues structure was just decided on this year as we realize that our new alumnae who are fresh out of college may be interested in getting involved but may not always have the money to do so. So we decided to help you out a little bit .
How do I pay my dues? You can now pay your dues online by clicking on the button below. Dues are also payable by cash or check. Checks should be made payable to Delta Zeta Alumnae Chapter and sent to our treasurer, Lindsay Fryer (e-mail Lindsay to get her mailing address, lfryer@eksh.com)..Or you can pay by cash or check at any alumnae chapter event (we discourage you from sending cash through the mail).
Why should I pay my dues? $15.00 of your annual alumnae dues pays for your Delta Zeta National alumnae dues and your Denver Area Panhellenic dues which mostly go to support collegiate members of Delta Zeta and Colorado sorority women, respectively. The remaining portion of your dues goes toward any administrative costs the alumnae chapter may incur (i.e. website fees, stamps, paper, etc.), and some events throughout the year. *Please note that we pay our alumnae chapter dues to National Headquarters in March/April each year which means your dues are due by March 1st. For example, in order to appear on the roster and count as "paid" for the 2011-2012 year you need to pay your annual dues between April 30, 2011 and March 1, 2012. Roughly $2 is added to take care of PayPal's fee |
